Job Title: Sales Manager (Director) – Domestic Freight | Houston, TX
Are you an experienced sales leader looking to grow your career in domestic freight? We’re seeking a motivated and strategic Sales Manager to join our expanding team in Houston, TX. This role is a key driver of growth and team development.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 10 sales representatives, with a goal to expand the team to 20+
Create and implement sales strategies focused on domestic freight solutions
Coach, train, and guide the sales team to hit performance goals
Collaborate with executive leadership to align on growth targets and business goals
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and optimize performance
Travel occasionally to support client relationships and team operations
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership within the freight or logistics industry
Strong knowledge of domestic transportation services and sales processes
Demonstrated ability to build and scale successful sales teams
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX
Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
