About the Role
A growing logistics company based in Raleigh is looking for an experienced Freight Sales Representative with a background in domestic produce transportation. This role is ideal for someone who understands the urgency and care required for temperature-sensitive freight and enjoys building relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business within the produce and perishable goods market
Manage and expand a customer base focused on refrigerated freight shipments
Partner with internal operations to ensure smooth and timely deliveries
Offer tailored logistics solutions based on customer needs
Stay up-to-date on market rates, competition, and industry trends
Meet or exceed established sales and margin goals
Requirements
Must be located in or near Raleigh, NC
Proven success in freight sales, preferably with refrigerated or produce freight
A book of business or established industry contacts is a strong advantage
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
Self-driven and able to manage workload independently in a fast-paced setting
