About the Role
A growing logistics company based in Raleigh is looking for an experienced Freight Sales Representative with a background in domestic produce transportation. This role is ideal for someone who understands the urgency and care required for temperature-sensitive freight and enjoys building relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business within the produce and perishable goods market

  • Manage and expand a customer base focused on refrigerated freight shipments

  • Partner with internal operations to ensure smooth and timely deliveries

  • Offer tailored logistics solutions based on customer needs

  • Stay up-to-date on market rates, competition, and industry trends

  • Meet or exceed established sales and margin goals

Requirements

  • Must be located in or near Raleigh, NC

  • Proven success in freight sales, preferably with refrigerated or produce freight

  • A book of business or established industry contacts is a strong advantage

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

  • Self-driven and able to manage workload independently in a fast-paced setting
