Inside Sales Executive – Logistics

Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commission
Location: In-office or hybrid, depending on company preference
Experience Required: 1+ year in B2B sales (logistics preferred)

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven Inside Sales Executive to grow our client base and build long-term relationships with shippers. You’ll identify prospects, make outbound calls, and close deals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Success in this role means consistently exceeding sales targets while delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through cold/warm calls, emails, and lead follow-up

  • Build and manage a pipeline of shipping clients across the country

  • Understand client needs and offer logistics solutions

  • Track market trends to identify opportunities

  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems

  • Serve as the main point of contact for your clients

  • Meet or exceed key sales performance metrics

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of B2B sales experience; logistics or transportation background preferred

  • Strong cold-calling and lead conversion skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple deals and prioritize effectively

  • Resilient and competitive mindset—motivated by results

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Bonus Experience

  • Prior experience as a dispatcher or in carrier sales

  • Knowledge of customs, import/export, or cross-border freight

  • Background at logistics companies such as C.H. Robinson, TQL, XPO, Echo, or Coyote
