Inside Sales Executive – Logistics
Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commission
Location: In-office or hybrid, depending on company preference
Experience Required: 1+ year in B2B sales (logistics preferred)
About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Inside Sales Executive to grow our client base and build long-term relationships with shippers. You’ll identify prospects, make outbound calls, and close deals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Success in this role means consistently exceeding sales targets while delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through cold/warm calls, emails, and lead follow-up
Build and manage a pipeline of shipping clients across the country
Understand client needs and offer logistics solutions
Track market trends to identify opportunities
Maintain accurate records in internal systems
Serve as the main point of contact for your clients
Meet or exceed key sales performance metrics
What You Bring
1+ year of B2B sales experience; logistics or transportation background preferred
Strong cold-calling and lead conversion skills
Proven ability to manage multiple deals and prioritize effectively
Resilient and competitive mindset—motivated by results
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Bonus Experience
Prior experience as a dispatcher or in carrier sales
Knowledge of customs, import/export, or cross-border freight
Background at logistics companies such as C.H. Robinson, TQL, XPO, Echo, or Coyote
