Supply Chain Director (Textiles), North America

Position: Supply Chain Director

Compensation: $150,000–$170,000 + Full Benefits

Location: Reidsville, NC (On-site; not remote)

Travel: Up to 25%, including international travel

Overview:

A well-established textile manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead inventory, planning, logistics, and customer delivery performance across North American operations. This role will drive both strategic planning and day-to-day execution, with a focus on improving service levels, cost efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in supply chain operations within a manufacturing setting and be comfortable managing multi-site teams, including international coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Time In-Full (OTIF) Delivery Performance

Ensure reliable delivery performance to customers by leading OTIF metrics and processes.

Analyze root causes for performance issues and lead initiatives to resolve them.

Align planning and operations with customer delivery expectations and service standards.

2. Inventory Strategy and Optimization

Own the strategy for inventory control to support cash flow, service levels, and inventory turnover.

Implement best practices for planning safety stock, reorder points, and demand forecasting.

Leverage ERP systems and analytics tools to improve accuracy and responsiveness.

3. Customer-Facing Supply Chain Partner

Represent the supply chain function in key customer relationships.

Provide visibility into lead times, order status, and proactive service communication.

Support operational reviews and strategic account discussions with supply chain insights.

4. Cost and Performance Monitoring

Track supply chain-related costs and identify opportunities for savings.

Collaborate with Purchasing and Logistics teams to improve efficiency and accountability.

5. Leadership and Team Development

Lead and develop Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics teams across U.S. and Mexico locations.

Establish clear goals and performance expectations.

Promote a collaborative and performance-oriented team culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with ERP systems and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI).

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international locations.
